Incidents

*An employee of Hospice of Rutherford County, located on Hudlow Road in Forest City, reported an incident of suspicious mail.

*An employee of Holiday Inn of Forest City reported a recovered stolen vehicle.

*Ernest Surratt, of Bellvue Street in Forest City, reported an incident of a suspicious fire.

*An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of domestic violence, possession of Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  (See arrest of Jimmerson)

Arrests

* Scotty Lee Jimmerson, age 42, of New Hope Road in Rutherfordton was arrested and charged with assault on a female, possession of Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was given a 48 hour hold.
