*An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of assault with a deadly weapon. The incident occurred at an unknown location inside the city limits.
*An employee of Ingles Grocery Store, located on South Church Street in Forest City reported an incident of larceny. (See arrest of Splawn)
*An employee of Wal-Mart, located on Plaza Drive in Forest City, reported an incident of larceny.
*Sarene Holloway, of Hill Street in Forest City, reported an incident of a dog bite. The incident occurred on Mulberry Street in Forest City.

*James Edward Wright, age 59, of Second Street in Forest City was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply. His bond was set at $428.00 secured.
*Angela Splawn, age 43, of Twelve Oaks Drive in Forest City was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
