Officers of the Forest City Police Department continue to investigate the shooting that occurred on January 16, 2010 on Washington Street that left Ricky Lamar Miller with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Officers have arrested a 6th man in connection with this crime.

*An employee of Ingles reported an incident of shoplifting/concealment. (See arrest of Plemmons)
*Betty Thrift, of Hill Street in Forest City, reported an incident of assault on a female.
*An employee of Shoe Show, located on Plaza Drive in Forest City, reported an incident of larceny.

Arrests
*Breanna Ledbetter, age 16, of Plymouth Lane was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct. She received a custody release.
*Christopher Baber, age 36, of Soloman Trail in Ellenboro was arrested on a warrant for breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and two counts of injury to personal property. He received a $30,000.00 unsecured bond.
*Jessie Greene, age 40, of Greenfield Drive in Forest City was arrested on a fugitive warrant. He received a 75,000.00 secured bond.
*Jacob Sellars, age 17, of US Hwy 221A in Forest City was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharge a firearm into an occupied dwelling and possession of a firearm by a minor. He received a $350,500.00 secured bond.
