Incidents
*An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of assault on a child. The incident occurred on Conner Street in Forest City.
*Gregory Holland, of Alpine Drive in Bostic, reported an incident of larceny and damage to property. The incident occurred on Withrow Road in Forest City.
*An employee from Wal-Mart reported an incident of shoplifting/concealment. (See arrest of Brockway)
*An employee of Hardin’s Drug reported an incident of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and shoplifting/concealment. (See arrest of Jones)
*An employee of B & D Thrift and Loan reported an incident of obtain property by false pretense.
| Arrests
*William Ernest Brockway, Jr., age 29, was arrested and charged with shoplifting/concealment. He received a written promise to appear.
*Rodney Surratt, age 42, was charged with driving after consuming.
*Calvin Tywron Bell, was arrested on a warrant for fail to appear and probation violation. He received a $1,000.00 secured bond.
*Melinda Sue Jones, age 23, was arrested and charged with attempt to obtain controlled substance by fraud and shoplifting/concealment. She received a $11,000.00 unsecured bond.
