*An employee of Ingles, located on South Church Street, reported an incident of fraud.

*Sarah Elizabeth Greene, age 22, of Hildebran Drive in Rutherfordton, was arrested and charged with obtain property by false pretense. She received a written promise to appear.
*Michael James Hudson, age 45, of Stonecutter Street in Spindale, was taken to the Rutherford County Detention Center on a public assist.
