Incidents
*An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported locating a runaway juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile that occurred on Hardin Road in Forest City.
*Thomas Sherrill Corbett, age 46, of Chisolm Trail in Rutherfordton, reported the theft of a debit card.
*** The Forest City Police Department is currently working a hit and run accident that occurred on 3-30-2009 at 1:49 p.m. The incident occurred on Old Caroleen Road near Georgia Avenue. We are asking for assistance in locating a silver/grayish colored Toyota or Nissan truck with white colored decals on the door that backed out of a private drive into the path of another vehicle striking same and causing damage and then leaving the scene. The truck was hauling 50 gallon barrels and possibly has damage to the right rear quarter and right taillight. We are asking anyone with information in reference to this hit and run to call the Forest City Police Department TIP LINE at 245-7771. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.***

*Tamera Lynetta Lipscomb, age 29, of Thompson Street in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for communicating threats and harassing phone calls. Her bond was set at $1,500.00 unsecured.
*David Jay Hill, age 46, of Cherry Mountain Street in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for simple assault and injury to personal property. His bond was set at $1,500.00 unsecured
*Graciel Garcia Negrete, age 29, of Byers Road in Forest City, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and for a child restraint violation. He was issued a custody release.
*Marcus Cortez Watkins, age 19, of Jerry Road in Forest City, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. His bond was set at $1,000.00 unsecured.
