Incidents
*An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of a sexual offense. The incident occurred on Young Street in Forest City. (See arrest of Jackson)
*Brandon Lovingood, of Springfield Drive in Forest City, reported an incident of damage to property.
*An employee of Drop In #1, located on West Main Street in Forest City, reported an incident of larceny by employee. (See arrest of Waters)
*Robert Hill, of Sycamore Street in Forest City, reported an incident of discharging a non-distance weapon in the city limits and damage to property. (A juvenile contact form was completed and processed.)
*An employee of Hibbett Sports, located on Plaza Drive in Forest City, reported an incident of concealment of goods. (See arrest of Lindsey)
*An employee of Hardin’s Drug Store, located on South Church Street in Forest City, reported an attempt to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. (See arrest of Carroll)
| Arrests
*Torrey Lindsey, age 23, of Polk County Line Road in Rutherfordton, was arrested for shoplifting/concealment. She was given a custody release.
*Justin Carroll, age 25, of McEntire Road in Tryon, was arrested for attempt to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. He was given a $15,000.00 secured bond.
*Charles Kevin Jackson, age 39, of Southers Road in Rutherfordton, was arrested on warrants for two counts of 1st degree sexual offense, indecent liberties with a child and assault on handicapped person. He was given a $225,000.00 secured bond.
*Robert Reno, age 22, of Joe Bostic Road in Bostic, was arrested on a warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses. He was given a $10,000.00 secured bond.
*Shelia Waters, age 36, of McDaniel Street in Forest City, was arrested for larceny by employee. She was given a $1,000.00 unsecured bond.
*Allison Jones, age 29, of South Church Street in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for food stamp fraud and public assistance fraud. She was given a $2,000.00 secured bond.
*Archie Porter, age 27, of Landis Street in Forest City, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond $1,000.00 unsecured.
