Incidents
*Carol Tharpe, of Mooresville, N.C. reported an incident of identity theft. The incident occurred on Washington Street in Forest City.
*An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of damage to property. The incident occurred on Vallyview Street in Forest City.
*An employee of Open Arms Home Care, located on Reid Street in Forest City, reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny. (See arrest of Wilkins)
*An employee of Wal-Mart, located on Plaza Drive in Forest City, reported an incident of concealment of goods. (See arrest of Lane)
*An employee of Wal-Mart, located on Plaza Drive in Forest City, reported an incident of shoplifting. (See arrest of Baker)
| Arrests
*Stephen Baker, age 24, of Providence Church Road in Forest City was arrested for concealment of merchandise. His bond was set at a written promise to appear.
*Danny Lane, age 35, of Southern Street in Rutherfordton was arrested for shoplifting. His bond was set at $500.00 unsecured.
*Demetrus Wilkins, age 25, of the streets of Forest City was arrested for felony breaking and entering and larceny. His bond was set at $5,000.00 secured.
*Amber Adkins, age 21, of Old US 221A in Mooresboro was arrested for driving while impaired and open container. She was given a custody release.
