Incidents
*An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of shoplifting/concealment. (See arrest of Metcalf)
*An employee of Ingles reported an incident of larceny. (See arrest of Jeffries)
*James Lane, of Golf Street in Forest City, reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny. A juvenile was charged.
*Susan Palmer, of Horseshoe Drive in Rutherfordton, reported an incident of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle and larceny. The incident occurred on South Church Street in Forest City. (See arrests of Elliott and Scruggs)
*Omari Wilkerson, of South Church Street in Forest City, reported an incident of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle and larceny.
| Arrests
*Carl Lynch, age 40, of Alabama Avenue in Hendersonville was arrested and charged with driving while impaired. He received no bond.
*Jamie Metcalf, age 32, of Piney Ridge Road in Forest City was arrested and charged with shoplifting/concealment. She received a written promise to appear.
*Lloyd Jeffries, age 45, of Old Castle Lane in Forest City was arrested and charged with larceny. He received a $1,000.00 secured bond.
*Jeffrey Elliott, age 16, of US 221 South in Forest City was arrested and charged with breaking and entering to a motor vehicle and larceny after breaking and entering. He received a $60,000.00 secured bond.
*Hal Scruggs, age 18, of US 221 South in Forest City was arrested and charged with breaking and entering to a motor vehicle and larceny after breaking and entering. He received a $60,000.00 secured bond.
