The Forest City Police Department is requesting assistance in a hit and run accident that occurred on 10-5-2009 around 12:20 p.m. on US 74A at the Lowe’s Home Improvement intersection. An unknown vehicle struck another vehicle making a left turn onto US 74A travelling toward Sparks Drive. The suspect vehicle continued after the accident and did not stop. We are asking anyone that witnessed this accident or has information about this accident to contact the Forest City Police Department at 245-5555 or to call the TIP LINE at 245-7771.

Incidents
*Heather Gonzalez, age 25, of McDaniel Street in Forest City reported an incident of larceny.
*Jennifer Roper, age 30, of Sunset Street in Spindale reported an incident of a lost/stolen pocketbook. The incident occurred at Wal-Mart.
*Rochelle Lamica, age 19, of Big Island Road in Rutherfordton reported an incident of lost/stolen wallet. The incident occurred at Ingles.
| Arrests
*Dennis Duncan, age 25, of Herbert Valley Road in Taccoa, GA was arrested for driving while impaired and open container. He received a $500.00 secured bond.
